Port Fairy Surf is a registered professional surf training school located on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. Suitable for persons 7 to 70 years old, from couch potatoes to elite athletes, Port Fairy Surf can teach you to surf. Come and get the adrenaline pumping and experience the thrill of surfing a wave!
 
We offer reasonable rates and an amazing Great Ocean Road location; learn to surf now with Port Fairy Surf School. Classes (group or private) are available, including our comprehensive 5 day holiday program and tailor made programs. 
 
To improve your skills, or speed up the learning process, book some private lessons with Port Fairy Surf's highly regarded instructors. Private lessons and group classes are available. We also cater for school groups, clubs and community groups and can tailor a program that includes surfing, snorkelling and diving to suit your needs. All bookings include surfboard and full wetsuit hire.

Tailor Made Programs

Ask us about tailoring a program to suit your needs. We offer surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, body boarding, kite flying, fishing, and environmental and historical walks around Port Fairy. We can arrange scenic boat trips, accommodation and catering, mini golf, swimming in Port Fairy's indoor heated pool, camping and much more. We also cater for children with disabilities who would like to get wet and have a go! Contact us to discuss your requirements. 
 

Moyneyana Festival Program

  • Surf classes are run daily at 10am at Port Fairy's East Beach during the festival season (26th December to 26th January).
  • If our 10am class is full, a second class will run at 1pm daily.
  • Surfboard and wetsuit hire included.
